...all the wiser

Its hot here. My last trip can't compare to the heat I am now experiencing. You get used to it. A good excuse to chill in the shade. What did I expect flying to an island in the south pacific in the middle of hot season. Needless to say, comming back to a Canadian summer will be refreshing.

Move along. I understand I haven't been keeping this site updated that last month or so. I guess I've been busy traveling. It has been harder this time to have internet access because my shedule is busier.

I suppose a good place to start would be my birthday. Thanks to everyone who wrote and called, it was appreciated.

I woke up and, of coarse, felt much older and wiser. I went into the home in the morning and found all the kids had made me cards. That was sweet. Not as sweet as the cake that they made me for lunch though.



As you can imagine, Two cakes plus 25 kids gets pretty messy.

After lunch me and and my Filipino friend Ronald went to get a massage. After the massage and some green tea I was feeling pretty relaxed. That night a bunch of friends took me out to eastwood for dinner


Then supprised by taking me to a really cool pool hall down town called Elbow Room.


There was more people that met us there and we all got a private party room with its own table, kareokee machine, and server. It was a great night, certianly wasn't expecting anything of that caliber.

There I ate my third Birthday cake of the day. This was the picture on top. How they did such an accurate drawing I'll never know.
