My last days of camping were followed with a quick flight back to sydney, and after a day or two there .... it was a thirty hour trip home.

Here are some of the best parts about fraiser Island.

Was followed by a wierd sun set over the shark infested waters of north Queensland. Hundreds of raven like bats flew over head as everyone joined in a huge soccer game of UK vs. the world. Dispite their bragging and british accents, we beat them good.

THe next day was full of cool stuff.

to climbing cliffs and teaching everyone how to be a stylish Canadian with track pants and beaters. It was good times.

THe flight back to sydney was cheap and un-eventful. I spent the night wandering the city. Impressed with the atmosphere of Frday night in Sydney. IT was midnight and the streets were full of people.. THe next day I did some shopping around Sydney before making the hour long "go train" ride back to Eugene's house To pick up some stuff that I had left there. They wouldn't let me leave again before spoiling me with more incredible food and a much needed night in a good bed.

Thirty hours after arriving at my gate in the Sydney Int. Airport. I had done alot of thinking, as well as making brief stops in Tokyo, Japan and Ancorage, Alaska. My trip was done. Everything planned or un-planned had taken place. I would not be moving to a different town in a couple days. I wouldn't be sleeping with a room full of strangers every night. I would, for a change, be with people I knew. In a town I had been in, and around a thousand times. This was/has been/ and is, a tough adjustment.
